Fall Break

Image
This has been a pretty eventful fall break. On Friday, I went with my friend to the airport and we took a plane ride down to Birmingham, Alabama. We went to visit our friends that attend the University of Alabama. This is the second trip we've taken down there. Our first trip was about a month ago. We got there in the morning so we had the whole day there. The ride from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa is about an hour long, so instead of ubering we just had one of our friends that has a car down there come pick us up. After the car ride, we met up with our other friends dorms that we were staying in. After we got settled in and all of our stuff situated we decided to go get some food because traveling is exhausting and made us hungry. We went to this one scrumptious gyro restraunt. That was pretty good. Upon filling our stomach's my friend wanted to show me her sorority house, so she took me there to check it out. I must say, these houses are ridiculous. Importance of Weightlifting & Physical Health

Image
A top priority in my life as of right now has been my physical well-being. Weight lifting and physical health are closely intertwined. This is because regular weight lifting has numerous benefits for the human body. Some of these benefits include increased muscle strength, improved bone density, and reduced risk of injury. In addition, weight lifting can also help to improve overall physical health by increasing metabolism, which can help to burn calories and maintain a healthy weight. This , in turn, can help to reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. This is one of my top reasons for lifting because my grandma has diabetes and I know how hard it is on her and I don't want to experience that. One of the biggest benefits of weight lifting is its ability to improve muscle strength. Strong muscles not only look good, but they are also essential for supporting the bones and joints, which can help to prevent injuries.  Additionally...

Doc Project Update

Image
When I first began this project I was looking at all the different films/documentaries and I originally chose the documnetary named 'Objectified'. I didn't have access to the film for free so I had to rent it through Amazon. It is crazy how even though this was a more obscure documentary, Amazon still had it because they have everything. Besides the point. Upon renting and beginning about half-way through the film I fell asleep. The film was so boring that I literally fell asleep. I knew that in order to complete this project there was no way I was going to analyze this documentary.  This lead to me switching gears and watching the documentary 'Icarus'. I found this one much more exhilerating. It was also much more intense than the other film, so it kept me on my toes and I was very interested in it. I myself go biking a decent amount so I personally could connect to the film in that aspect. After watching the first part where Bryan Fogel, the main character, is dop...
